The Ripple Effect: Let's Change the World Together

We Play Full Out with Bart and Sunny | September 27, 2024

Scientists have discovered that one thing has the greatest correlation to wellbeing than any other “thing.” In fact, this one thing gives you more energy, higher emotional intelligence, a more forgiving attitude, less depression (it can boost happiness levels by at least 25%), less anxiousness, more feelings of being socially accepted, better sleep (up to 18%) and less headaches.

What in the world could that be?

Well. It’s such a common “thing” (and a highly underrated one, we might add) that you may just skip right over the rest of this newsletter when we tell you what it is… but there are a few mic drops here you may not want to miss if you do that!

That one thing is: gratitude.

Yeah - it seems a little soft and squishy (and quite frankly, too easy) to impact your life at that great a level, but it goes even further than that. Gratitude does all of those things, but it goes even further than that. Gratitude also changes your entire energy field and increases your ability to hear and follow your intuition.

And we don’t think we have to tell you…that’s a big deal.

“The longer you rest in gratitude, the more you are a magnet to your new destiny.”

Joe Dispenza

When you are in a state of genuine appreciation, you’re vibrating on a higher frequency. That energy pulls in better opportunities, better relationships, and yes, better business. Gratitude has a way of turning you into a magnet of abundance.

Think about it: Ever notice how, when you’re in a good mood, good things just seem to come your way? That’s not an accident. It’s energetic alignment. Gratitude primes you for those “lucky breaks” and “out of the blue” phone calls that seem like magic but are really a reflection of the energy you’re putting out.

Flip the Script

Now we’re gonna’ flip the script on gratitude that we keep to ourselves versus the gratitude we share with others. We are both passionate about helping others along this journey through life. Gratitude isn’t just about making you feel good; it’s a force that shifts the energy around you - and here’s where things get interesting - it strengthens your intuition.

Intuition thrives when you are in a state of alignment. And gratitude? It’s the shortcut to getting there. When you take a moment to pause, reflect, and send out sincere thanks, you’re not only tuning into the people around you but also tapping into your deepest instincts.

Here’s a little magic for you: research shows that people who practice gratitude regularly are more in tune with their emotions and the world around them. Why? Because gratitude keeps your mind clear of negativity and distractions. It helps you focus on what’s truly important, and when you’re in that state, your intuitive senses naturally sharpen. Gratitude clears the static so your inner guidance system can operate at full capacity.

Have you ever had a gut feeling that you should reach out to someone, and when you did, it was exactly what they needed to hear? Or maybe you sent a gratitude text to someone randomly, only to find out they were going through a tough time and your message turned their day around? That’s intuition at work, guided by the energetic power of gratitude.

Story 1: Bart & Shane

When Bart was deep into the cycling world, he attended local, organized cycling group rides. There was one particular rider, Shane, who was as competitive as Bart and they had a lot of fun challenging each other; however, some of the rides were on Friday evenings and Saturdays were usually long training days that consisted of 100+ mile rides. The two of them had an agreement they wouldn’t ride together on Fridays so their legs wouldn’t be blown up for Saturdays.

One day Shane popped into Bart’s head and he sent him a text letting him know he was thinking about him and felt like he should ask him to come to the Friday night ride. He didn’t receive a response, but went about his day. That evening we met with some friends and were told the news that Shane had ended his life. We were shocked and dismayed to hear the news. We were told what time it had happened, and Bart’s texts would have been the last he had received. Bart was so grateful he had acted on his intuition and had immediately sent the text. First and foremost so Shane knew someone cared and second because Bart would have carried a burden around for awhile wondering if something would have been different if he would have acted on his prompting.

Story 2: This Literally Happened This Morning

This morning Bart was getting ready to do our early morning I Do Epic accountability calls and a friend popped into his head. He immediately texted him letting him know he was thinking about him and that he missed him because they hadn’t talked in awhile. He immediately got a phone call back - his friend was just leaving the hospital after having an emergency and very unexpected heart surgery. He expressed gratitude to Bart for the text and told Bart he had no idea how much that meant to him.

5-Text Friday: An Invitation

If you would like to make a difference in the world around you as well as increase your intuition, impact, wellness, and magnetic energy, we invite you to join us and our I Do Epic entrepreneurs in sending out five gratitude texts every Friday.

It’s really simple - pick five people (family members, friends, clients, or just someone you know) and send them a text. If someone pops in your head, for sure include that person! It can be as simple as…

"Hey, I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciate [specific thing they did]. It made a big difference, and I’m grateful for you!"

Not only will you uplift them and make an impact on all the collective energy we experience together, but you’ll notice your own sense of knowing sharpening over time. As you keep practicing gratitude, watch how your decisions feel clearer, your actions more aligned, and how opportunities seem to show up at the perfect moment. It’s no accident. You’re building a stronger connection to your intuition, to others, and your deepening your connection with yourself.

Trust your gut, send out those five texts, and see where the energy leads you. 🌟
