Is A.I. Coming for You? And These Two Skills Will Get You Farther Than Anything Else!

Is A.I. Coming For You?
Gary Vee was at an airport a few days ago and a man randomly started yelling at him and calling him a piece of sh*t! The man said, “I saw a video of you talking about how A.I. is going to be good.”
Gary said, “Yeah.”
He said, “You’re a piece of sh*t. This is gonna’ take away jobs.”
Gary Vee’s reply was SO on point.
He said, “The tractor took away jobs. When the tractor was invented, 80% of humans on Earth worked in farms. The tractor made it not have to be that. When Google and Yahoo came along, they took away the Yellow Pages. Nobody feels bad for the people that were selling the Yellow Pages. Because you didn’t own a bookstore in the 90s, you weren’t mad at Amazon. You were happy with Amazon. Because you didn’t have a taxi medallion in Manhattan, you weren’t mad at Uber. You were happy with Uber.
But when it comes for you…. now it’s a problem. People are spending all their time scared that the A.I. is going to take their creative job away without realizing what it’s going to do is to take away the mundane and elevate your skill sets. We need to start leaning a little more into optimism and accountability. We are all capable of adjusting to new truths as long as we start realizing we are capable of adjusting to new truths.”
That being said, here five incredible A.I. tools entrepreneurs are using right now to help them get their messages out faster:
ChatGPT by OpenAI and Jasper.ai
ChatGPT assists in content creation (anything from newsletters, blog posts, social media captions, quizzes, and more!), brainstorming, and answering questions. Jasper specializes in generating high-quality marketing copy, such as crafting compelling content for ads, emails, and social media tailored to a brand’s voice.Opus Clips and Descript
Opus Clips creates engaging, short form videos from longer videos. They also automate highlights, subtitles, and optimize for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.Lately AI
This tool leverages AI to repurpose long-form content, such as blog posts and podcasts, into short, shareable social media posts. It also analyzes past engagement data to optimize content for the highest impact.Canva’s Magic Resize and Text Generator:
Canva offers AI-powered tools for resizing images to fit across all the different social media platforms automatically, along with AI-generated captions and design suggestions. It’s awesome because you can create polished, visually consistent posts without having to have extensive design experience.PhotoRoom:
If you are in the eCommerce space, you know you need all your product photos to look amazing… and you need them all on a white background along with lifestyle photos. We used to have to pay someone to simply remove backgrounds for us or purchase expensive light boxes to try to get great product shots. PhotoRoom does all that for you after you simply upload your product photo.
Two Skills Will Get You Farther Than Anything Else… According to OG Marketer, Frank Kern
Frank Kern - now there is an OG marketer for you. We have been following Frank Kern since his “surfer look” days… when he kind of appeared to be a bum and acted like he didn’t know very much… but as soon as he opened his mouth it was obvious he knew his stuff!
Back in the good old Clubhouse days, Frank was asked the question, “What are the five most critical skills to develop to be successful in terms of marketing/business?”
Frank said he couldn’t come up with five when he was on the spot like that… just two!
Number One Skill:
The ability to influence people in a one-to-many fashion, meaning one person influencing many people at a time instead of one-to-one. You can do this through videos, webinars, podcasts, stage presentations, or written. Basically…. you do it through typing or through talking! If you were to reverse engineer on how to get good at this…. it’s not buying a course or reading a book. The thing that will get you good at doing it… is doing it! Do it every day for a month and you’ll start to get good at it! Put in the work!
Ronnie Coleman, former Mr. Universe said, “Everybody wants to be a bodybuilder, but nobody wants to lift these heavy @ss weights! But I’ll do it!” Do the work and results will follow!
Number Two Skill:
Focus. Today’s world is completely full of distractions, and a dopamine hit is just a click away. Have you ever picked up your phone to look something important up, only to see a bunch of notifications that led you down an entirely different path to the point where you forgot why you picked up your phone in the first place?
Focus is easier said than done. Here’s how you can develop the skill of focus:
Have a daily ritual. A daily ritual keeps you in a system instead of in chaos.
Make a list of the top three things you need to get done that day. Make sure they are high-impact activities instead of just busy work.
Get them done! When you are focused you get things done quickly and efficiently and can actually enjoy the rest of your day!
*You can use productivity hacks like the Pomodoro technique in order to keep your brain on task. Set a timer for 20 minutes and stay completely focused on that task until the timer goes off. Take a quick break (get up and move, turn on music, dance…whatever!), and then do it again!
What One I Do Epic Entrepreneur Has Done This Month: Den Lopez!
Den Lopez is an online guitar teacher who is now also a full time entrepreneur. We can all agree that teaching guitar is a highly saturated market that “should” be hard to make money in… but not for Den!
Every month in I Do Epic our members fill out their 30-Day Plays. Statistics show that you are 42% more likely to hit your goals if you write them down. Our members call their shot every month, then break their month into weeks and weeks into days. Then… they TAKE ACTION (just like Frank was saying: Focus and a List!)
Den’s Big 30-Day Play: To Presell 10 People Into His New Course Through His Email List and Build the Course by the End of the Month
Den’s weekly focuses to accomplish his 30-Day Play were:
Week One: Presell 10 people into his course through email
Week Two: Build an outline of the course
Week Three: Record Course
Week Four: Edit the Course
Den’s Results:
Week One: Den pre-sold his course to 147 people (instead of 10) and that number is still growing!
Week Two: He outlined his entire course
Week Three: He shot and edited three out of the eleven modules
Week Four: We’re still on week four!
WOW, right? Den is an inspiration on writing out your big goals, taking action, and achieving success.
And…. he is also an absolutely mind blowing guitar teacher! You can check him out at Learning Guitar Secrets!
Life Updates!
Well. Xander did it. He reached the ripe old age of 15! Since the whole family was in town to meet our new granddaughter we had a little party for him last weekend. Then, on his actual birthday, we did what he wanted to do. What does a 15 year old kid want to do on his birthday? Attend “The President’s Own US Marine Band” concert! Normal? Probably not. But he did ditch us to go sit by some friends when we got there… The concert was incredible. We have never heard a band that sounds so clean and so balanced that we could have been listening to a recording all night. Very well done!
Cobe is still in town but heading back to Colorado on Monday. We have shot a lot of great content with him and have been working on optimizing some funnels. We have also played a lot of pickleball with him! Gonna miss that kid when he leaves!
We got our studio set up here at our house so we can start doing our podcast as video as well as audio! Super excited about that!
